Allahabad, August 11 (ANI): Due to moderate to heavy rains in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, the rising water level of the major rivers flowing in the state have inundated areas nearby them. Water overflowing from the Ganges River has inundated many shops and huts located on the banks in Allahabad. The water levels in the river rose after water from the Narora dam was released into it. Apart from Ganga, other major rivers flowing through UP like Ghaghra and Sharda continued to flow above the danger mark. While Yamuna is in full spate, Rohin and Gandak were on the rise and have flooded villages at some places.
