Maoist attack kills three paramilitary troopers in Jagdalpur


Jagdalpur, October 7 (ANI): Three troopers of Indian paramilitary Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) were killed in a lethal Maoist attack in Jagdalpur on Friday. The vehicle of the troopers was blown up in a powerful landmine blast that was planted by Maoists on National Highway 16. Security personnel arrived on the spot and rushed the injured personnel to the hospital. SSB trooper Anil confirmed that three out of four persons in the vehicle are dead and the lone survivor s condition is critical. Media reports claim that it is for the first time that a major landmine blast has occurred on a national highway.
