Ranchi, October 31 (ANI): Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda, who is in judicial custody in Birsa Munda Central Jail for his alleged role in a multicrore scam, was today injured during a scuffle with other inmates. As per Koda, he was on a hunger strike since today morning to protest against the bad quality of food being served to inmates. Later an argument broke out which led to a scuffle with other inmates and ended with jail officials brutally assaulting him. Some people who had come to visit Koda were also injured. Koda was arrested on November 30, 2009 in the multi crore scam during his tenure as the chief minister.
