Communal Harmony in Delhis Phoolwalon ki Sair


New Delhi, November 14 (ANI): Located on the banks of the River Yamuna, New Delhi, the capital of India, is one of the oldest cities of the country and has its share of age old traditions. It has served as a base for many civilizations and dynasties that have come and left behind many stories, anecdotes and traditions of glory, royalty and amity. Among these many traditions is the procession of florists or Phoolwalon ki Sair. But what makes it special is that the festival is attended by florists and people who hail from both the Hindu and Muslim communities, presenting a perfect example of inter religion accord.
