India's southern Karnataka goes into election mode


Karnataka, April 24, 2008 : With elections round the corner in India's southern Karnataka, the Janata Dal-Secular or JD-S party, unperturbed by blame of betrayal politics, is looking for a kingmaker's position. The Chief Ministerial candidate of the party HD Kumaraswamy is least bothered with allegation of politics of betrayal by his former alley in government, the Bharatiya Janata Party. He still speaks of regional issues and achievements of his 20-month government in the state.
