New Delhi, Nov. 21, 2007 : New Indian test skipper and veteran leg-spinner, Anil Kumble, on November 20 hoped that the team would perform well against arch-rival Pakistan in the upcoming three-match test series beginning from November 22. Kumble was appointed India's test captain on November 8, succeeding Rahul Dravid who quit the post in September. India enjoys a good recent test record, having won three of their last four series, all played abroad.
