Zoellick Wraps Visit


New Delhi, Nov. 3, 2007 : World Bank chief Zoellick's visit, his first to India since heading the World Bank, concluded in New Delhi on 3rd November. His visit was aimed at taking stock of the World Bank-aided programmes in India. Earlier in the day, Zoellick also met Indian Finance Minister P. Chidambaram and signed an agreement for US $ 944 million support towards vitalizing rural economy and addressing skill gaps.
