Riot Hit Town Limps Back To Normalcy
Allahabad, Sept. 2 : Allahabad today limped back to normalcy after it saw one of its worst rioting in recent pasts. Scores of Muslims on Sep 01 went on rampage, pelting stones and destroying public property in the town after they found a torn and damaged Koran in a mosque. Police were forced to place certain areas of the town under curfew to curb the large scale vandalism. Locals complained that the curfew had hit the festive spirit.
