Muslims taking care of a Hindu shrine
Jammu and Kashmir, July 09 (ANI): Situated in Northern India, the state of Jammu and Kashmir is famous for its natural beauty. Once described by Mughal Emperor Jahangir as a Paradise on Earth , it remains even today a major attraction for tourists and a must visit place for pilgrims. Here, amity between people of all faiths is a perfect example of communal harmony. The Behram Galla Temple, a Hindu shrine, is located in Poonch district, and is looked after by Muslims. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. Devotees from all across India come to pay their obeisance at the temple. The place presents a unique picture of religious amity, when Hindus and Muslims make arrangements for the annual function at Baba Behram Galla Temple.
