India to help flood-hit Nepal
Nepal/Bangladesh/New Delhi, August 29, 2008 : Nepal's foreign minister Upendra Yadav met Indian foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on Thursday. They discussed different ways to deal with the aftermath of floods that have severely affected people in both countries. India has offered to help Nepal in tackling floods. Pranab Mukherjee also held separate parleys with Bangladesh's Foreign Adviser Iftikhar Ahmed Chowdhury. Both the leaders exchanged views on issues ranging from bilateral trade to terrorism.
