Uri terror attack: Soldier succumbs to injuries, death toll rises to 19
Bhojpur, Bihar, Sep 30 (ANI): Family of Naik Raj Kishore Singh from Bihar's Bhojpur, who got grievously injured in the recent Uri terror attack wept as the soldier took his last breath after battling with life for 12 days on Friday. The total number of army personnel killed in the strike rose to 19. Naik Raj Kishore Singh was undergoing treatment at Army's Research and Referral Hospital. The Uri Army base was attacked by heavily-armed Pakistani terrorists on September 18. As a reprisal for the Uri attack, the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on seven terror launch pads along the Line of Control on the intervening night of September 28 and 29.
