Sharp rise in air pollution in Delhi: Health Minister Satyendar Jain
New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): The Delhi Government on Tuesday said there is a sharp rise in air pollution level in the national capital. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has blamed burning of agricultural residues in neighbouring states like Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh for the hazard that the people of the national capital territory is facing. In a strong statement, Jain asked the states concerned and the Centre to take effective measures to curb pollution. He also asked them to stop burning of agricultural residues.
