No specific network but Pakistan has external linkages with Khalistanis, opines expert
Punjab, Oct 13 (ANI): Pakistan does not have any specific network with Khalistan at regional level but they have external linkages, experts said. Khalistan-led militancy that peaked in late 1970s and 1980s claimed hundreds of lives. Punjab, which shares an international border with Pakistan, still remains victim of low-intensity war from across the border. Experts say that Pakistan is well aware of India's strength and hence uses its proxies to disturb peace in bordering states, including Punjab. For over two decades after the insurgency ended, Punjab made rapid development. Be it farming, business or national politics, the Sikh community is one of the progressive communities in the country. Pro-Khalistani activists sitting abroad are being used by Pakistan for anti-India propaganda.
