Have introduced mid-afternoon policy decision in terms of timings, says RBI Governor Patel
Mumbai, Oct 04 (ANI): Briefing media about the new monetary policy, Reserve Bank of India Governor Urjit Patel said a mid-afternoon policy decision in terms of timings has been introduced as that is the norm elsewhere. Patel added that for the first time, big global demand is going to track down trade volumes which are to decline readily in the near future. Patel further said that the systemic for central banks pose uncertainty for emerging markets causing volatility in EAMs, U.S micro data in the European Union amongst other changes. The RBI Governor also said that this would be the outcome of the coming U.S presidential elections.
