Fawad Khan finally breaks his silence, dismisses anti-India remark
New Delhi, Oct 08 (ANI): After maintaining a stoic silence for a while, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan finally broke his silence. The 34-year-old actor took to his Facebook page and issued an official statement, explaining the controversies surrounding him over leaving India and also on the ultimatum given by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) over Pakistani artistes in the country. According to his post, the ‘Kapoor and Sons’ actor left India in July not on the account of any threats, but to be with his wife, Sadaf, who was expecting her second child. The actor also rubbished the reports of his alleged anti-India remarks and said he was speaking on the matter for the first time. Fawad’s statement comes a day after two other Pakistan artistes Shafqat Amanat Ali and actor Mawra Hocane condemned the Uri terror attack that killed 19 Indian Army soldiers.
